A smart little robin

There are still too many leaves on the trees and the little birds are very good at hiding among them. You hear a rustlet, spot a slight movement but the the birds stay firmly hidden.

The exception just has to be the robins who are quite willing to come out into the open and perch, sometimes a bit too briefly .... today he stayed long enough for a quick click.

I had Poppy for company today. She is actually a very good, patient dog who is quite content just to stand quietly while I fiddle about with the camera. As long as she gets a wee treat and a paddle in the river she is as 'Happy as Larry'
