Great Pumpkins

Overcast and mild all day. We planned out our itinerary for a full day on the road. First stop was the refuse center. I still need some items from thrift shops to finish our recycled Christmas gifts; both were closed on Wednesdays. Drat! Meat prices and quality are usually better at out Navy Commissary. It’s been awhile since I needed anything there and the current prices are shocking. I noticed, like other retail stores, products were spread out on shelves to down play the current shortages. These nice sized pumpkins and mums were among the Fall decorations for sale. There are at least spheres, rectangles, cones, arcs, squares and circles as far as geometric shapes so I’ll enter it for wide Wednesday. Thanks to our WW host. When we looked for lunch, we were sorely disappointed to see our local Red Robin was closed. Sure hope that is a temporary situation. We picked up a few camper items and Christmas gifts while we were out. At least the stores only had a few customers so distancing wasn’t a problem. When we got home, Hubby scrubbed the camper’s interior; I found sedentary jobs to rest the old legs. Leftovers for dinner and maybe a bit of Kindle time. Thanks for visiting. Stay safe. "I would rather sit on a pumpkin, and have it all to myself, than be crowded on a velvet cushion." - Henry David Thoreau
