Auberge espagnole

A and C are off to Germany for a while, so they had a farewell do in the Ancien Café. It's such a lovely space, it's a shame it doesn't get used more. It was an auberge espagnole, i.e. everyone brought something to eat and/or drink, so there was lashings of good food. I made a new to me recipe, ginger spice cake (extra). Mine wasn't sticky, but it was absolutely delicious, and got lots of thumbs up. I'll definitely be making it again.

Earlier, S and I hung the photos for Saturday's exhibition, using what was to hand (hooks and horrid metal grilles). It's not ideal, but the main focus is going to be on aperos and music, not photos!
