Not asleep

I thought that this chap was having a snooze on the front this afternoon.  It would have been an amazing feat to have done so, considering the noise and buffeting of the sea and the wind.  But he was head down over his smartphone, engrossed enough for me to catch a few shots from different angles.

In the Extras: two cormorants on a small boat in the harbour at West Bay.  The one on the stern was continually flapping its wings, presumably to dry them, while the other was unconcernedly grooming itself.  Then we saw a solitary bird on one of the marker pylons, facing the full force of the wind; perhaps she was waiting for bodies of fish to appear.
