Finding a blip for Silly Saturday was easy this week.  This is my favorite of several silly decorations in my neighborhood.  I thought the candy canes were a nice touch.  Remembering Admirer today. x

A lot was accomplished today but the main thing we wanted to do was get a new grate for our fireplace.  That didn't happen because the only one we found in stock anywhere nearby was too small.  We're just going to order one from Amazon.  One of the metal supports on the one we currently have has melted through.  It only lasted two seasons.  We're going with cast iron this time. :-)

I am grateful that most of our winterizing tasks are done in both the camper and the house.  Now we can just relax and enjoy this beautiful fall we are having.  The colors are the best in recent memory.
