Sky and cows

A weird looking sky as we went out for our afternoon walk today. Layers of cloud and a watery setting sun. Trying to keep a level horizon was a bit of a challenge! 

I thought all the cows were in and we could go through the fields, but the gate was shut and then I  spotted the cows in the distance. Very wet underfoot, so much so that Lottie needed a bath when we got home!
