Allotment View

Spent a couple of hours at the allotment this afternoon and harvested bramble thorns. I’m sure they’ll work their way out of my fingers soon enough. But the old canes are now cut out and the new ones are trained and tied in their frame, ready to produce an abundance of berries next year. Maybe.
Something’s digging up potatoes and chewing on the leeks. Don’t think it’s a rabbit or the leeks would be gone completely and I’ve never heard of rats digging up spuds, so I’m at a bit of a loss. Crows maybe?
I liked this view across town as I started to head home. We had a cracking sunset too but I missed it!
