Life after Burradoo, NSW

By MountGrace

We escaped

Today we drove 180kms each way to visit Canberra and, in particular, the wonderful National Museum of Australia. It was delightfully quiet but we hope for the Museum's sake that the pre-Covid crowds will re-emerge quickly. We had the whole outside area of the cafe to ourselves (it was raining!) and we could see the spectacular water fountain in Lake Burley Griffin from our table.

Signing in with QR codes and wearing masks all the time was a bit cumbersome but we will get used to it.

The extra shows one of the latest innovations at the museum
