Stretched

A slightly stretched view of Sugar Bond House, once a sugar refinery but now converted to form offices. A nice example of building reuse, as construction uses a huge amount of the world's resources.

We were on the way home from school, before those clouds joined forces to block out the sun. I still made a go of tidying up the front garden and planting some of the 200 crocuses. I'll try to get the rest done this weekend.

Saw someone from H's school on the news, unfurling a banner for the COP26 kids' protests at Waverley Station. H was impressed but not too sure what the protests are about...

H & D are now watching fireworks out of the upstairs windows.
