Colours of Luskentyre

Assembled yesterday rather than taken yesterday.  At the moment I’ve so many images from my trip to Harris that I will have days when I showcase putting them together rather than taking a new image.  These were actually taken on the 24th Oct when I’d left the group on my own.  Earlier I’d walked up Rosamol beach and battled the strong wind and soft blown sand which had taken its toll on my ankle. Driving back onto the Luskentyre Bay gave me some shelter and I stopped several times along the roadside.

Back to yesterday:
A little more sorting and tidying in the morning, then a trip to the outskirts of Barnsley to have my haircut.  I chose not to return via the town centre and decided to go and stock up at Cannon Hall Farm Shop instead as I’d run the freezer down.
I’d arranged to visit a friend from the camera club who is also a member of our Girls Aloud photography group. She has recently seen the consultant because she’s been in a lot of pain.  Good news and bad - no operations on her knee or hips as the problem is in her spine, but therein lies the problem.  It was lovely to see her and she made us scones which were delicious.  GG and Buddy came too.
