Hippeastrum

Or Amaryllis. Plants have multiple names. Last year this one flowered all summer, until April, so I wonder if it will repeat the performance this year. I had lots of new flowers out today but thought I would blip this as a record.

Quiet day here with rain and storms. I have watched the Insiders show on TV ( it’s a current affairs show on the ABC) then sat on the exercise bike and did some reading while peddling along, two sessions of music and now while tea cooks I’m reading a book from Maddy’s school which she finished yesterday. I find some children’s books so sweet.
