Yellow

The birdwatcher had an early start again today, making her way to Powderham Church for a walk along the river Exe to Exminster Marshes. She kindly dropped me off in Teignmouth so I could bimble about and generally waste time pretending to look for a blip on this mild and sunny November morning.I was so early the Park Run, which follows the seafront, hadn’t even started. I agonised over which cafe to visit for a coffee but my first choice, the Oystercatcher, the sort of place where the windows steam up cosily was closed due to a gas issue. The Pavilions, with its magnificent view, was perfect anyway.I looked in the Oxfam book shop, considered a visit to the Aegean Barbers, then went to the library for the Saturday morning atmosphere, which always gives me a sense of happiness, and sweet homesickness. It is an interesting town to walk around - follow in the footsteps of Keats - and then wander down to the Point, where these colourful buildings are.
I enjoyed my morning.
