Today I have been mostly ...

... travelling. I left Kirkwall early morning and saw this beautiful sunrise over the plane's wing as I headed south to Birmingham. Despite a longish delay in the onward flight everything went as well as could be expected and it was good to remember how to use ticket machines and trains. I use them so rarely now that it could become A Thing, which I need to nip in the bud sharply! We are blessed with good transport links to LD and it would be foolish to get all anxious about it.

So, now that I've made it I'm having some quiet time whilst the grown-ups work. I forgot to factor in their cats' insatiable curiosity though when I decided to bring some sewing. My pin cushion is especially tempting it seems!
