Long Beach Flower

There are so many differences between our home in Mexico and our daughter's home here in Long Beach, One of the most striking is the variety of flowers that we never see south of the border. My wife could tell you the actual names, but the flowers here seem to be less showy, more subdued in color. I saw these blue flowers in neighbor's yard while walking to the grocery store this afternoon. The sun was setting which provided a light that wrapped around the blossoms. Perfect for illuminating this complex flower. We hardly ever see blue flowers in Zihua, so it is a nice change of pace to be here in Southern California.
