Autumn Contra Winter

When I saw this view from my bedroom window this morning, I was struck by how the last leaves cling on the silver birch while winter has arrived in a rush with snow falling yesterday and lying all day today. It will be gone tomorrow as a warm front moves in bringing rain and much milder air.

To Leicester to meet William out of school and to take him for tea to Morrisons in Glenfield. It seems to be becoming a regular treat. A bit extra today in that we found the trolley with the Little Tykes Coup attached to the front. I pushed the trolley around the store while William guided, picking up six Prosecco en route at discount prices.
