Let there be ...

... Christmas lights! So welcome on dark, dank evenings like tonight. There should've been a turning-the-lights-on ceremony with a band and "mice pies" (hmmm spellchecker didn't catch that one!) but sadly Storm Arwen put paid to that.

I've had the second day in a row of friend visiting and feel so much better for it. It's good to talk :-)

Now I really must get on and do my shopping list for tomorrow's food shop and get some washing on.

As always, get water, chop wood.
