Loose ends

I left my home fairly early in the morning to go to the dentist, or, hygienist in town on the mainland. We had a nice sunny morning with lots of snow left over from yesterdays snowfall, with about five degrees below zero. When passing the bridge I saw a sight that is so common, sun on Öland and something quite different  over the mainland. The high part of the bridge was lost in clouds today, it was like going into another climate zone.

The dentist had had a power cut all morning and I was the first patient. Mina, my dental hygienist did a great job cleaning my teeth and was ready to do the final polish when the power closed down again. Luckily I was ready to leave, there were others who were in the middle of their treatment.

I fetched my glasses in town, they were the wrong colours from the ones I ordered but the right ones will arrive in a week or two. Finally I'm pleased with them, more glass, less frame.

Back home I finished, i think, the editing and mastering of my friends music so he can go ahead printing the songs on a cd to give away to his friends. I'm so happy being able to help him finish a lifetime music-project putting his music on a record. It'll probably be the last thing he will record. He's so proud of himself, rightly so.
