Rubber Lips

Stopping off for a short walk on a patch of moorland, a group of dartmoor ponies were browsing their way along. A hardy breed, they stay out on the moor all winter (I managed about quarter of an hour before being driven back to the car by the cold wind). A clue to how tough they are is that this one is eating a gorse bush and if you have ever tried to retrieve a ball from the middle of one, you will know how sharp and painful the spines are!
