The sun falls on this small table for just a brief time in the morning, and Smokey has that special cat skill of knowing exactly when the right time is to be in the right place. I'd stepped out into a temperature of 0.2 degrees C to test the new GPS unit I'd bought for my Pentax K5, but it had failed to lock on to any satellite signals.
