Winter salads

The protection of the poly tunnel means we have a steady but small supply of leaves which is such a treat, as well as a healthy supply of Rainbow chard, colourful stalks to brighten up anyone’s day. The outdoor kales and sprouting broccolis have succumbed to wind burn. Coco found something delicious to chew on from the compost and wouldn’t come back when she was called. We’ve still got lots of garlic but it’s slightly too damp for it in the garden shed now.

L and A have been creating miracles in the storage container. Cleaning it up and clearing out things that are beyond rescuing. They’ve managed to magic up a new shower for Middle Cottage, goodness knows why we bought one and never used it, but neither of us can remember - hopefully we can use it now.
