A Walk with My Children

We did some of the walk in preparation for the bigger walk in a couple of weeks.
Tim, never having done it before was keen to know this part of the route.
What l liked best was that it was just me and my two children on our own, so very rarely does that happen.
It was a cold and frosty morning and foggy down in the valley.
You can just see the peak of the Chevin above Rebecca’s head
( where we were heading).
Because it was so beautiful l’ve put on some extras.
After , Elaine came over and we four had fish and chips at my house, l  have a fabulous chippy in my village.
Lovely for us to chat as we ate, Elaine has known them both from birth.
Then Time went home and Rebecca gave Elaine and l a lift to Skipton Market on her way home.
We both ended up buying something to wear but not too expensive.
Home now and we are having a baked Camembert, drizzled with honey, some French bread and a bottle of red this evening.
We are still full after the big lunch.
