Lakehead

Colourful swampy ground at the head of Upper Womansway Pond at Sheffield Park Garden on a visit there this morning with Mrs Catspaw.

Today's 'Extras' comprise another view of the swamp; a brown oak leaf caught in the needles of Pinus pungens near the Cricket Pitch; and a young specimen of the Garden's famous 'Montezuma Pine' (its current taxonomy is disputed) grafted by Lime Cross Nursery growing next to the parent plant.
