Tree in fog

I have been hoping for a misty morning for some days, but it had to choose today when I didn't have time to get out because we wanted to leave fairly promptly to get up to see family in the Midlands. 

On the way we drove past this tree.  It is a long time since I photographed this tree, but I have done so many times before, starting well before I joined Blipfoto, at different times of year, different times of day, different weather and lighting conditions, but never before in fog or mist. When I saw it I knew I wanted to stop to capture this different view.  Fortunately it didn't delay us very much.
