Incredibish finally got the chance to go birding with the Hubble today, as you can see.  He's actually got his eye on a male Goldcrest at this point, which I completely missed.  That will teach me to lag behind!

Who needs gym equipment.  I'm sure that regular use of that lens is going to help retain his upper body strength in the years ahead ...

I did manage to get a shot of a sedge warbler*, which is quite a common little brown job, although restricted to mashland.  However, it is not something that I have photographed before so I've uploaded that as an extra.  

* I'm having second thoughts about the warbler which I now think is almost certainly  a Chiffchaff, which is yet another very similar warbler.  The Sedge Warbler is not normally resident in the UK at this time of year.
