Truly Blippin' Marvelous

Wha' ?

(that was for the benefit of the thumbnail) There are so many of these curly seed-heads . . . and the light was good.

This was a good week as no trips had to be made to either Flagstaff or Show Low. Indulgent TV watching of old TV shows: Rawhide, Wagontrain, and Perry Mason; all shows which were on British TV. I grew up with BBC radio when the offerings were the Home Service MW(the news, plays, Listen with Mother, Children's Hour, Railway Roundabout or was that Roundup ?) the Light programme LW (ITMA, Round the Horne/Beyond Our Ken, The Clitheroe Kid, Jouney Into Space, The Flying Doctor and turning the dial to the extremes to hear Morse code chatter) And the Third Programme for serious music, Greek drama, and edgier plays. And Dad read to/with me a lot too . . . whilst I inhaled his unfiltered second hand Senior Service smoke . . .

Third Covid jab on Thursday so I was a bit poorly (headache) yesterday - all better now. Daily walk with Kathy around the neighbourhood after walking Kiki by the river most days. Oh, and visiting Debbi to chew the fat and play music. Chess has been put aside as David is out-of-town for a while and I haven't spoken to our other player about meeting for a game (or two) at the senior center. Still struggling a bit toremember a camera when out and about - perhaps that will improve with lighter mornings and when the forest is more accessible.
