Cannington Shaw Bottle Shop

In the 19th century there was a huge row of these at the heart of a gigantic factory complex.
It was genius. Regenerative furnaces that used hot air to feed back into the furnaces to make them more fuel efficient. They shipped thousands of bottles a week around the world.
Usual story. It then fell out of use & the majority of the site was demolished, leaving this one vast furnace to be grade II listed.
Plans are afoot to save & rebuild it as a museum/ community hub.
I hope it succeeds.
