Bond

Some days railway engineering works do not make life easy. This evening, to get into town for our evening at The Crazy Coqs, we had to go from Wimbledon Chase, via Elephant and Castle up to Piccadilly Circus. It’s certainly not hard but it is very indirect.  We did get to to wander around the West End as train timings gave us more time than we needed when we arrived.

The Crazy Coqs is a little cabaret bar that is part of Brasserie Zedel and, every fortnight, a group called The Crazy Coqs Presents puts together a show with a different musical theme featuring stars from the West End. Tonight it was James Bond title songs - everything from For Your Eyes Only to Goldfinger and You Know My Name. It was a really fun way, with a bottle of wine and some nibbles, to spend a Sunday evening listening to some great performers.

We also booked ahead for their next outing: 80s Love Songs.
