Workboats

I had an exciting task first thing. Which involved getting the dinghy pumped up and skimming over the muddy incoming tide as it flooded up the harbour to where a sinker had lost its buoy. And there I did affix (with bowline of course) a warp and lift-buoy. And I made it back. Mission accomplished. I expect some recognition in the club's annals. Which I may have to write myself, of course. Or perhaps I shall receive a 'Hero of the Club' medal with Harbour Bar. In fact, I might start designing one.
After all that, I called to see the maw who seems to have recovered some of her equilibrium and is now puzzled about why she thought her house wasn't her real home which had been troubling her (and me). And after that... I went for a walk.
