I went to the cinema to see the NT Live production of Leopoldstadt this evening, as recommended by ceridwen. I was so tired that I thought at first I might actually fall asleep in the big comfy seats but Stoppard and the actors hauled me back. It's unlike any Stoppard play I've seen before - no clever pyrotechnics with words or philosophy, just the lives and relationships of one extended Viennese Jewish family over three generations from 1899 to 1955. Although I found it a little hard to keep track of everyone in the family as they aged it didn't really matter and the placing of a family into what we all know happened was very powerful and moving.
