Fifty Nine

Travelling most of the day again as F had his surgery follow-up consultation in Birmingham.

Histology showed the tumour wasn't benign. But, very low grade and low risk of spread so another scan won't be needed for 12 months. This should be able to be performed at Addenbrookes at least so won't take a whole day.

Everyone concerned was happy they got the whole mass out without the need for much of a margin - better for F's recovery, and, given the location, didn't pose much of a threat to nearby, nerves, muscles and other important internal bits and pieces.

Good news all in all so we can get on with treating all his other ailments! :) I smile because most of these just need him to listen to advice rather than involve much clinical intervention!
