Budding photographer

I have to admit that I didn't take this shot.  It's what you get when you lend your camera to your 3 year old grandson.

We met Ali, Lucie & Tom at Fellfoot on the way home from Keswick.  It was lovely apart from a bitter Northerly wind.

We had an interesting (!) trip back home.  Our electric vehicle normally has just enough range to get home from Keswick.  However it was only 80% charged so we were a few miles short so we put it on charge at Booths while we had a cooked breakfast in town .   

Unfortunately there was a problem and the charger would not accept my debit card.

No problem I thought as theres a bank of chargers just off the motorway at Lancaster.  Unfortunately the charger at Lancaster didnt work either.  A phone call to the support number established that there was a national problem with contactless payments.

Anyway,  after 4 phone calls and an hour and a half wasted we finally managed to get a top up to give us sufficient range to get home.

They really need to get destination charging for EVs sorted out!
