Replenished

I filled Dad’s bird feeders and put out some fruit and peanut butter in the kudu horn. It was less than an hour before the birds were back having a wonderfully noisy party! They bathed in the fresh water I put in the bird bath and generally had a wonderful time.

Now I wish I’d done it on the first day I arrived but I’m glad there was such a quick response.

Lunch with Jean today at her place. She cooked a delicious kedgeree which we ate in the veranda overlooking their beautiful garden. She took us out to show me the massive, grand old oak tree that shades the house and garden.
