(080) Over The Hill?

Not just yet! Today was my first trip up to the Pentland Hills in years and the first on a gravel bike instead of a mountain bike. With the exception of a pretty rocky descent down Maiden's Cleugh towards Glencorse reservoir the 700x38mm tyres were quite sufficient for the terrain. Although there was brilliant sunshine all day the air was still cool and I was glad of having taken a few extra layers for some parts of the ride, including some urban exploration, before heading back over the water to Fife. The main photo and first extra are views of Glencorse reservoir and the second extra is a view of one of the smoother sections of the descent to the reservoir.
