(084) Glasgow Walker

Went to the Kelvingrove Museum to see Eric Watt's photographs of Glasgow. Details from the museum website, "This exhibition displays some of his most striking images showing Glasgow from the late 1950s to the 1990s. Work, leisure, faith and politics are recorded with affection and curiosity." I really enjoyed the exhibition, wish there were more photos to see though. The blip today is a view from Charing Cross, looking across the rooftops towards the towers of the Trinity Building, formerly known as Trinity College. In January of this year residents at the Trinity Building and nearby homes in Park Circus were forced to leave their homes due to safety concerns about the towers, brought about by the high winds. A cordon remains in place around the building until repairs are carried out and the structure made safe.
