Last Day of March

Appointment in the surgery to see the Doc - a lot of the things that went wrong last year have improved.

There was a few things that I allowed to get me annoyed today- the cost of power increasing so much and why Scotland is paying more compared to London with the baling out of the dud companies that Ofgem (not fit for purpose) gave licences to many years ago some setting up in the front rooms. I’m all for competition but the way they wily nily approved licenses for companies that clearly had no idea what they were doing is criminal. I fear for people that are now in fuel poverty with worst to come. Other countries are doing much more to help but then they didn’t have a right wing Tory government privatising everything. Another reason to spit on Thatcher’s grave. It’s not an exaggeration to say it will be catastrophic for so many next winter, and as usual, the government response is woefully inadequate.

Then I was annoyed at the trans gender people competing in women’s events and wiping the floor with them obviously. I agree that people can be what they want but not this. They should set up their own events.

I went a walk with Saffy in the beautiful countryside and that cleared my head.

Mum had a night of hallucinating, the stories she told me were hilarious (but not for her). She even saw Sandra one of the resident in her wardrobe taking measurement lol.

Ben arrived later (always a great pick you up) and declared he wants to go to Barcelona and Rome. We’ve never been to Barcelona so that could be an option. Him and his dad are having a solo trip to Hamburg on Sunday for 4 days. He’s a very popular travelling companion.

He was off on a visit to Scottish Natural Heritage at Battleby with the Scouts in the evening all wrapped up as very frosty.
