Chalet Suzanne

Just back from a day spent in the Lake Wales area.

A lot of it was spent at the Bok Tower gardens - the Bok Tower often described as Florida's Taj Mahal. In fact so spectacular were the gardens it was nearly a flower Blip today.

This is Chalet Suzanne a really quirky Inn and Restaurant.

However my main memory of the day is the fact that everywhere is dripping with oranges. Lots of them lying on the ground and even on the sidewalk. I shouldn't think anyone in that area ever has to buy an orange. At the centre of all these Orange Groves was a town called Dundee - a lot different from the Dundee I know!

Just switched on the TV and all the stations are covering the bombing at the Boston Marathon. A lot of Floridians known to have been taking part.
