Onwards and upwards....

2667. Alfie

Say hello to “Alfie” a 12 week old puppy who had his first taste of the outdoors today.

I bumped into him and his lovely owner at Loch Leven this morning, whilst we were out for a walk.

He was absolutely adorable and so excited to be outside and thoroughly enjoyed saying hello to just about everyone, including the dozens of dogs already there!

We did a quick trip to the recycling centre this morning to get rid of some chairs that we used with our kitchen table. I was disappointed we couldn’t donate these as they were in very good condition, but the fire labels had been lost, and we couldn’t find anyone who wanted them, so they went into a skip. We then went for a walk, had a nice stop in Kinross for a cuppa and headed back for lunch.

I made a video call to my friend this afternoon and we enjoyed a short walk together, something we did when we were doing the “Walk of Light” for Blood Cancer UK together last month. Her husband is battling blood cancer and things have taken a turn for the worse after a period of relative stability. She finds that walking and talking is a help so I’m always up for a joint walk even though we live hundreds of miles apart. Thank goodness for the technology that allows us to do this.
