Not a complete waste

I was excited watching my ‘Guernsey Cream’ Clematis budding, and then today I noticed the first bud was hanging by a thread. Now, I don’t like waste, so I bought it inside and popped it in a vase, so hopefully it will give a few days of pleasure yet. Thank you for your comments on my Peregrine Falcon yesterday. I normally like to put it on Facebook too, but Guernsey Birds have asked us not to put these large rarer birds on their website as it’s risky, in case they are nesting etc, which is a shame. There were no clues in the sky, we need to abide by the rules!
