Bracing

The forecast this morning was still for sunshine in St Andrews today so we set off and crossed the bridge in bright sunshine. Clouds had rolled in by the time we got to the north end of the beach but it was still bright. We navigated past way more dogs than we’d hoped to see and eventually got to a stretch where we had the place to ourselves. Lots of running on her long line, often getting tangled up in it, and some paddling on the shoreline. There was a lot of wind, and some frothy waves bashing along the coast, so we felt thoroughly sandblasted and windswept when we got back to the car.
Stopped at Balgove but didn’t want the BBQ and chips we’d thought about…perhaps as we’d had a morning roll and coffee in the car as we drove over earlier, but instead had some tea and a scone before coming home via the supermarket. A still in a state of indecision about her hair but got on and did the cleaning whilst I did my hair (more straightforward!) then the ironing and made supper.
