The Stumpery

We drove to RHS Rosemoor this morning, via a circuitous route to avoid a section of closed road.  A good day though,  perhaps the road closure had put off a few people as the gardens looked less busy than we expected.

The stumpery is something of a favourite for both of us so it has become my blip.

The stumps from cut down trees are placed into a shady area and provide a good habitat for ferns which grow between and around the stumps as they slowly decay.

And now ... a camera club committee meeting via Zoom :-)
