Today's bug safari took me to Blackford Pond. Really enjoyed looking for insects and taking photos. In the afternoon I visited someone who had asked me to help him with some focus stacking. He's got all the kit. After some faffing around it turns out that the camera wasn't working properly. It worked ok when set to fully automatic but in any other mode the mirror locked up and came down again after 30 sec or so and no exposure taken. Really strange. Also didn't help it was a Canon camera. Quite interesting to see how used I am to Nikon cameras.
