Little blue tits are nesting in my old weck kettle

I saw some little blue tits flying off and on in front of the livingroom window...when I went to investigate I saw them disappear into the hole at the top of the kettle... This one is ready to fly in with a juicy caterpillar for their kids... I'm trying to protect the nest from the neighbor's murderous cats...they have already killed a nest of blackbirds and a nest of tail tits... it was terrible to see... nature is hard and sometimes horrible...
