Bus Pass Walk

The bus we would normally catch was cancelled once again, so we crammed onto a crowded Jet Bus and rode on to Bar Lane to walk along the canal.  A pretty walk that way with some interesting houses and gardens.  The heron was staring intently at the water, but then saw little ducklings and made a couple of attempts to zoom in to get one.  Mum and dad were having none of it!  Apparently a bit further back mink are growing in numbers and have taken a large number of youngsters.  More of the walk in extras, but no decent photos really as only had my phone and there was a fingerprint over the lens!  Veered off the canal by Keighley golf course and walked back to the main road through Utley Cemetery.  Buses back to Bingley all well timed, and a lovely lunch at Crafthouse Cafe.  2 of us had a Bhaji burger it was like a bhaji plus sweet potato in a Lavash flatbread with salad and mango sauce. Would definitely have that again.
