I Love my Horse (NOT)!

A glorious day had me up at the stables with L and while she was out riding I was watching a couple of friends taking jumping lessons in the new menage. 

It might be said that Flick, the horse in this picture, is a bit exuberant.  Certainly G has been dumped on a few occasions and today was no exception.  Luckily she bounces pretty well. On this occasion she was able to hold on despite being thrown up onto Flick's neck after jumping a fence.  

I so enjoy taking photos of horses, it something about the relationship between the horse and rider and while I try to do justice to it in an image I think this short video gives meaning to that friendship:
