Craigellachie to Fochabers

Quite damp:  verging on drookit.  Up and over the shoulder of Ben Aigan. Other stages having been the International Week of the Willow Warbler it was quite a change today to count five chiffchaffs.  We've never seen so many beech trees before.

If you're nearby to Fochabers be warned - the Earth Pillars have become fairly overgrown.

On arrival we got through the grimey parts of Fochabers by using an old A-Z of Plymouth.  Through the wrong end of a Telescope.

CMC's elder sister stays just outside Huntly so she came through with her daughter for a meet up.  Quite a rare occurrence.

There is a vacancy on the committee that chooses road names in Moray.

It is truly heartening to see the Fiddichside lnn has reopened.
