The start of the adventure!

Halty Bear and I are flying to Spain tomorrow for a walking holiday with 12 other Haltwhistle walkers. He does not like the heat, but he begged me to let him come and I gave in.

Tonight we are staying with Alistair and Sue in Corbridge. The taxi will pick us up at 0615. All the others will be on board.

This holiday was originally booked for 2020. The hotel has honoured our booking.

We will stay in the village of Rupit. Has anyone been there or even heard of it?

Halty thinks he won’t sleep but I am sure that I will!
