High Rise Nest

I nearly stepped on a Curlew's nest when I was out for a walk this evening and in my haste to make sure I didn't disturb the adult bird too much I nearly walked into the fence strainer post no more than a couple of yards away which contained this Oystercatcher nest.

Both adult birds returned to their respective nests very quickly but I'll be avoiding this area for the nest while. Once home I discovered than with binoculars I can see the adult Oystercatcher sitting on the nest.
