PLUM P0CKET

Another excellent and much Qigong session this morning with Gladders, Caroline and Gussie.  Well Gus slept through most of it of course, but he must hae been working out very hard as he had a huge thirst on and you could hear him lapping up his water in Blackpool!!!!!!! ;-)

Such a dull, grey and raining morning up her in Cumbria.  Thankfully it looked fine in London for the service at St Paul's Cathedral for Her Majesty.  Sadly she won;t be able to attend as she probably overdid it a bit yesterday and is very wisely resting up.  I like to think of her sitting there in her fluffy slippers, with her feet up, sipping tea and eating cake watching the service on the  TV!!!

So due to the weather not a lot we oculd really do, so I've spent the rest of the mornning catching up with the EDPS Photo-a-Day and IP365 projects.

After lunch it actually stopped raining, yeah 0 so Hubby had to go out to tend to his damson trees.  He spotted something on them yesterday and on looking it up, it owuld appear that they;ve caught a fungus called "Plum Pocket"!!!!

Plum pocket or bladder plum is an unusual disease that causes unripe plums to grow abnormally large within a month or two after bloom. Plum pocket is caused by the fungus Taphrina communis. Manage this disease by removing infected plums from trees before they produce spores.

So he's spent some time removing the infected ones, hopefully he's got all of them!

Hope to go over to see Mum tomorrow morning, we may see our Niece and Great Nephews but we're not too sure on that yet.

I hope you are all enjoying your Jubilee weekend.  Do take are and stay safe and I will see you tomorrow.
