Crazy About Birds

I blip this particular wildflower - Verbascum blattariapretty much annually. It's very much one of my favorites. I had to clamber over a fence and wade through hay to get this one - it was growing in a field where half has been cut for hay, but the other half left uncut. This particular flower was about six inches from the line where the cutting stopped.

You can see - in the first shot - how I spotted it. It was standing up a good deal taller than the grass around it! Such a pretty flower.
