I think the optional challenge was "Power" - can't quite make this fit.

I bought quite a few (too many really) of these pans when we had the new kitchen fitted - to go with the "dark theme" - I still love them and don't even mind washing them by hand rather than putting them in the dishwasher!!!

Interesting Fact of the Day - probably not actually a fact but a possible explanation.

Panhandler - a term used for a beggar in the street.  It is possible that the term came from the sight of a man (or woman) stretching out their arm with a metal can/plate/hat to ask for money from passers-by.
The arrn is like the handle and the receptacle at the end like the actual pan.   This is not substantiated but seems logical to me.
